From the last paragraph in the article:

"After his team’s failure to score in their past 10 hours of playing time, Bruce has not been greatly concerned by the new protocols on player celebrations."

I love the fact they felt the need to write that.

I don't understand how a grown man in his 60's, who's been in football all his life, managed and played at the highest level for decades, can think the secret to winning football matches and scoring goals is nothing deeper than working hard and adjusting various articles of clothing on the body. You don't score for 10 hours, and your only thought is "well you know, we just need to put wor heads down". How? And he keeps getting work.

I dont even think Bruce is a Yes Man, he just has zero ambition to make the club better and he is just grateful to be where he is

I think there’s an element of him being grateful - but he certainly has ambition to make the club better. He just doesn’t know how to do that.

The Ashley horror show of managers, Hughton, Rafa and arguably Pardew were a success. Lots and lots of shit

Could imagine him bringing in Pulis next
