I'm not sure people ever meant that, I think it was more of a case of thinking that we might not get offers in the region of £20m for him. It's sad to say, but we know other clubs are looking at him. I remember when Savo Milosevic did it back in the 90's, that's how rare it is doing it for Villa. Don't know if he scored a real hat-trick, but that's beside the point anyway. We are lucky to have him, he is truly world class. Hats off to Lambert for signing him, what a great bit of business, clearly the best signing since Martin Laursen.
