Jores Okore

Really pleased with his performance but at the same time it's a reminder of what we could've had last season were it not for our ridiculous bad injury luck. It's gutting that we bought this guy and then he gets an injury a few games into his Villa career which keeps him out for 14 **** months.

Well thank god Vlaar baker and Senderos are all injured otherwise we wouldn't have witnessed that very good performance

See what can happen when you consider other players Paul?

Well done Jores! Hopefully you will kick on from here! ( if Paul lets you)

How do you know Okore was ready to play before now?

His Denmark appearances.

Are you saying it is purely coincidence that the first game that Okore is ready to play in is also the one game 3 CBs are out?

We could have seen this performance at least a month earlier IMO

That doesn't necessarily mean he was 100% ready to play. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes but I can see why Lambert wouldn't want to risk him.

No, but then again two of those CBs that are out should be starting ahead of him anyway (although if Okore puts in more performances like that things will change).

Why does everything have to be about Lambert? Don't get me wrong, I think he's got a lot to answer for and there are dozens of legitimate criticisms, but it seems like now everything is made out to revolve around him.

You have absolutely no idea if this was the case or not. It may well be pure coincidence that this is the first game he could have been considered for.
