Mantis Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 (edited) Really pleased with his performance but at the same time it's a reminder of what we could've had last season were it not for our ridiculous bad injury luck. It's gutting that we bought this guy and then he gets an injury a few games into his Villa career which keeps him out for 14 **** months. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes but I can see why Lambert wouldn't want to risk him. No, but then again two of those CBs that are out should be starting ahead of him anyway (although if Okore puts in more performances like that things will change). Why does everything have to be about Lambert? Don't get me wrong, I think he's got a lot to answer for and there are dozens of legitimate criticisms, but it seems like now everything is made out to revolve around him.
