Not good. Is this the new terror tactic ? The extreme right wingers will be making the most of this

Yes, and the French have a proper far right political movement, nothing in the UK mainstream even compares.

Possibly. Depends whether this chap has got something to say about why he did it revolving around a political goal.

essentially banal events.

Yeah, the decapitation of a British soldier on the streets of London in broad daylight by men shouting "Allahu Akbar" is essentially a banal event.

Not worthy of the 24/7 treatment. What the media did is give the killers precisely what they wanted. Any copy cat killings are on them.

What would be smart, tactically, is to not report the event in any other way than your bog standard killing in this country.

First sentence is true, second is not. Any copy cat killings are on the people doing the killing. "Kay Burley made me do it." Really?

When you amplify an event like the media have done in this case you're only going to inspire copycats. Obviously the killers are at the head of the causal chain (if it wasn't for their attack there wouldn't be any chance of a copycat by definition) but the media do more than play their part in 'reporting' these things to death.

**** it lets have a holy war !!!!

Would possibly be good for the global economy ??

By cutting it off from the global oil supply? Maybe not.
The US have controlled the Saudi oil fields for decades

Aramco (Arab American Oil Company), used to do a bit of work for them.
