Totally unacceptable, in a religious context. That would be a massive over reaction. He's not a Muslim, as it turns out. In a general day-to-day context, this sort of behaviour would more than likely get you sacked from work. I understand footballers live in a bubble where they are multi million pound assets and thereby are immune to usual stigma of 'day-to-day' life.
