AVFCforever1991
I always like it when we take over the Bescot. VfL Bochum should also be a good game, are they still in the 1.Bundesliga? They're in 2. Bundesliga. And thanks more to the failings of others, they will just about still be in the 2.Bundesliga next season (does that sound familiar? ). Also they have been on a good run of form, winning 4 of their last

Ghost
Shamrock Rovers also added to the tour. Villa will now play Shamrock Rovers in their pre-season tour. The clash with the League of Ireland side has been added to the extensive schedule ahead of the 2013-14 campaign. The game with Enda Stevens's former team will take place on Sunday August 4, kick-off 2pm. It will be played at Tallaght Stadium. The Fun Factory
Thought maybe they would have a villa-celtic game this summer to raise money for Stan's charity? Perhaps they have decided to wait for another year to get the ball rolling first. I am sure it would get 2 sell outs.

If it was just about fitness then why not just stay at the training ground... Match fitness is different though. Plus it gives Lambert a chance to try out new things. We haven't played any top quality friendlies for a few years now anyway, although the rumour floating around is that we'll play Lazio at home before the season starts. StefanAVFC
Really tempted by the Walsall game this year. Anyone fancy a meet up? We could do a VT meet up thing. I'm sure the interest would be there and as it's a nothing game it would be pressure free.
