May Optimism Gauge

I'm way more optimistic than at any other point since the season actually started.

However, I am still nervous at the prospect of going to Wigan on the last day 3 points ahead of them though with similar goal difference.

I'm praying our good form continues and we are at least 4 points clear of them going into the last day. The good news is we've dragged other teams into it; Sunderland, Newcastle, Norwich.

Aren't Villa the team that you want to play to break you're bad run?

Surely that means we can end a few good runs as well, including Wigan sending down their opponents on the last day of the season, with them going down instead   :D

although I'd much prefer Stoke to go down!

Cautiously optimistic. Consistency is key not only for this stretch run but for next year as well.

We've seen what they're capable of in strong spurts and it's very promising. It's just stringing it over a whole game as well as week to week.
