K-Carlsen
Yes, yes, yes! But we can't afford him. Unless it's a loan with option to buy next summer.

Mantis
Sigurdsson on loan with an option to buy would be an excellent move but it's probably just Twitter BS.
jacketspuds
Yes to Sigurdsson. Maybe a loan move for Given is the key to a loan move coming in.

sne
I can't see the point of having Benteke and a big lump like this Czech player but nobody who can cross a ball from a corner. Yep benteke has really struggled for goals with our shit service. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz It's not just about Benteke getting goals though. 20 league goals from your main striker will only get you so far. We need goals from midfield and goals from set-pieces. An attacking midfielder would/should help us with that. Tonev - both feet - deadball specialist. Watch this space. To be fair his corners against Malaga didn't suggest he was a dead ball specialist! Lambert is obviously held back by whatever pittance Lerner & Falkner will allow him to spend, and has to target what he can bring in accordingly. Personally I'd have thought a central defender, midfielder who can tackle and win the ball and somebody who can create would have been better targets. And that's why Lambert is earning truckloads of cash managing a premier league team whilst you are restricted to posting your ideas on a fan message board. Lambert knows what he's doing, let him do it. Yes i remember when we all trusted in Alex McLeish, as after all he was a Premier League manager and knew what he was doing. Not comparing them im any other way mind you... I like what Lambert is doing on a budget, but that doesn't mean he has all the answers and doesn't get stuff wrong from time to time

What he does deserve is a chance to be given the benefit of the doubt, that he might know what he's doing with this transfer and fans who are unsure should take a step back and wait and see before voicing their criticisms. daft
Would we have Barry back if ManC subsidised his salary? Everton want him on loan, City wants to get rid permanently. Personally I could definitely do without him.

Bunnski
Strap yourselves in people. Looks like Given, Bannan and Ireland could be all gone today which might make funds available for another last minute signing. I'm guessing that Stoke would be paying at least half of Ireland's wages and if Given goes on loan then Liverpool would be probably paying half his wages. If that was the cast then we would have taken over 50k a week off the wage bill. Fingers crossed
