Ireland will goto Boro but we will be paying most his wages id say which is pointless. Why reward him with games if were still paying his wages. Just let him rot.

And why would that be in our interests?

paying 10k of his wages.. whats the point? if you let him rot till January.. he might actually decide he wants to play and accept lower salaries to leave in January.

or you could look at it as £10k off the wage bill and putting Ireland in the shop window so he's easier to get rid of.

Because 10k a week (if that is even what it is) is still half a million pounds that we would not otherwise be getting. There is no reason to turn that down and have a disruptive influence handing around the other players.

Wait a minute...

Heard from a good source we'll try and get Libor Kozák from Lazio but it won't be until near deadline day and there'll be some confusion whether it'll be a loan or a transfer and if he'll be the last signing we make this window

Wow, reminds of that weird nostradamus prediction:

Giant, will arrive at lions den

Details unknown, many will ask

Done little at home, but now found belief

Price to pay is absurd

You could.. but those who could afford him dont want him. Clubs who do want him cant afford him. That wont change in January. He will love to go play games and still collect his wages. If he wants to stay at VP collect his wages.. when his contract runs out.. noone will touch him as he will have been in the wilderness too long. Big gamble.

He hasn't done so far, and I doubt he'd have a change of heart 6 months from now.

For 10k let him rot for another year and also make him train on his own, useless piece of sh1t

Not really as ,  if it is only 10K per week,  that is still 500K we are saving and him playing regularly elsewhere could entice someone to buy him permanently,  unlikely I know but him not playing definitely wont encourage someone to buy him

Sky have been around the training grounds,  they went everywhere apart from Bodymoor

I guess they are not expecting any action of interest to be happening at BMH. Also, the players we tend to be looking at these days are not "Box Office" names as such, although they one day maybe with the way Lambert is picking players.

Are you expecting any action other than possibly Kozak today Richard?

I think Kozak is our one and only for today. If you think about it, it has been a very good transfer window for us.

Yes, it has been another solid summer window getting Lambert's squad assembled especially doing our business early and getting players bedded in.

Hopefully next summer it will be a case of fewer numbers but higher quality.
