paulfromsutton Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 I just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that Gabby is now the highest goal scorer for Villa in the Premiership era and I think with another 18 goals it will be in all history?

Good enough to be one of our better players but not good enough for much better teams coming in for him. Will end up a club legend no doubt about it.

We still haven't had a player score twenty league goals in a season since Peter Withe managed it in 1981. The last player who scored 100 goals for us was Peter McParland, a man who celebrates his 79th birthday in two weeks. We don't really do prolific goalscorers at Villa Park, do we?
