AvfcTheObsession
Still think Moyes would have been a good fit for Villa. A relegation battle was not what he needed after his last 2 tough jobs. He would have got us organised a lot quicker than RDM has and built from there, rather than trying to shoe-horn 4 attackers into a team.

Xela
Moyes throwing his players under the bus. Sunderland are a relegation waiting to happen. Just like we were. Its got to happen this year surely

Of course, it's got to happen eventually, but it would be a brave man betting on it in any individual season at this point.
Rodders
I think the manner of Sunderland's defeat yesterday has parallels with Villa v Leicester last year. After getting something on the opening we'd lost a few by this match, worked well to get into a 2-0 lead, then Sh*rwood decided to take off midfielders for attackers and Leicester over ran us and came back to win with 3 goals in 15 minutes. After which we just began to properly spiral and confidence drained. Can't see who they beat in a game.

I actually wanted him at Villa, but that's an appalling interview to give with a new team so early in the job.
StanBalaban
Moyes has got proper losing mentality vibe IMO. Said they were fortunate to be 2-0 up but "just couldn't keep it" after that must enrage the Sunderland fans. Both Tyne and Wear clubs have done a Villa this weekend. Mantis
I know that there are so many other factors involved but it is interesting how both Villa and Sunderland went into a tailspin after O'Neill. Although in fairness he didn't stamp his mark on Sunderland the way he did here.
Zatman
Sunderland have been shit since Peter Reid left, a slight blip under Keane and Bruce who both wasted ridiculous amounts of money on crap which still costing them to this day

TrentVilla Posted September 26, 2016 Moderator Share Posted September 26, 2016 I heard a stat on the radio that you have to go back to 2012 since Sunderland won a game in August or September!
