TRS-T
I'm sure they don't mind, imagine if we had Gareth Bale... We'd be slightly above average? England are way above average. in the world? yep obviously, at a tournament? nope we are pretty much bang average We are even above average at tournaments. Average team at a tournament wouldn't get to the quarter-finals. They probably wouldn't even get out the group. Zatman
im pertty sure if he was English he wouldnt be used properly. England when they produce flair or technical players they are nearly always disregarded or underused. Le Tiss, Scholes even Joe Cole You just stick him on the left wing and watch him destroy the opposition. Wouldn't class him with those type of players you mentioned. Chris Waddle and John Barnes were similar type position and never really shone for ENgland. As for Bale he hasnt played left wing in a while. more a free role

Voinjama
France haven't lost a world cup qualifier since 1993 - that is impressive. I know they qualified automatically for 98 and 02 as hosts and then winners (holders) but it is still impressive.
The_Rev
Easy night's work for England. Ukraine are beating Poland in Poland too (3-1 at half time) which is good for us. Montenegro 0-0 away in Moldova after an hour. If that stays the same the England will be back on top of the group on goal difference and the third placed teams will both be six points adrift with a game in hand. Rodders
England actually being dominant against a minnow for a change. Normally wed struggle and be 1-0 up after 60 mins before knockung in a couple late on.
