villarule123 Posted March 11, 2013 VT Supporter Posted March 11, 2013 Another pathetic sacking... No loyalty in football, they deserve relegation
Avfc96 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Joke of a sacking. Look at how Southampton have done since they got rid of their manager, they've got worse.
AVFCforever1991 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Not good for us... Actually, depends who they bring in. Edited March 11, 2013 by AVFCforever1991
Milfner Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Di Canio was in the posh seats on Saturday too. Guessing they already had a replacement ready.
coda Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Feel a little sorry for McDonut. Were the owners expecting Europe? Losing to us twice made his position untenable. 2
briny_ear Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Last throw of the dice for the Reading board. They are down anyway IMO.
BleedClaretAndBlue Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 silly to sack him, lets hope McClit gets the job
Demitri_C Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 absolute joke of a decision. mcdermott can hold his head high for job he did there. i think he will have no problem getting another job
PieFacE Posted March 11, 2013 VT Supporter Posted March 11, 2013 I can see why the board have done it. What do they have to lose now? If they go down it's to be expected, if someone can get them playing better and they stay up it's a bonus. It's unfair on McDermott but that's football.
CI Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Unreal really, he gets them up gets limited funds. What the **** did the owner expect ?
Jimzk5 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 this was tipped on the hobnobanyone reading forum i was reading before the game saturday, something about his refusing to pick the players he signed in the summer and jan
AVFCforever1991 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I assume it was that Russian that had a say
Danwichmann Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Di Canio was in the posh seats on Saturday too. Guessing they already had a replacement ready. I think that would be a good appointment for them, on a short term basis Di Canio could really lift the players and get them moving a bit. Long term less sure how he'd do, but over the remaining 9 games I think he'd give them a big lift.
