Jimzk5
I would prefer a Southampton draw. this. as it stands qpr will be coming to villa park knowing a win could get them out the bottom 3. for **** sake.
OutByEaster? Posted March 2, 2013 Moderator Share Posted March 2, 2013 I'd have a Southampton win personally - there are only four teams realistically likely to go down - QPR, Reading, Wigan and us. As long as the other three keep losing, I'm happy. The game that kicks off in half an hour might just be the most important one of our season so far. LondonLax
This is the point in the season Wigan normally start to kick on.
Daniel
Yeah, i thought a QPR win would be worse than a Southampton win?
Voinjama
QPR winning may be a bad thing. They will only be 4 points behind and our game in hand is Manchester city.
flamingsombrero
Haha Valdes goes over to the ref to give him some after the game. Ref completely stone faced pulls out a yellow. Valdes keeps on going so ref still stone faced pulls out a red. Valdes loses his shit and has to be dragged away. VILLAMARV
just reckon we have to beat Reading and QPR to have any chance anyway so being able to claw back a few points on Southampton if we do so will look better in the long run. QPR win aint ideal but better than Southampton picking up points imo.
ryanvilla_1994
Barca really aren't playing well at the moment. Seem to be missing having a manager on the touchline more than people thought.
LondonLax
I think QPR winning is positive. Southampton are still only 3 points away, we could yet catch them. A 6 point gap this late would be much tougher. On the other hand, if we continue to be crap it will increase our chances of finishing bottom...
vivahate
Liverpool always lose on the rare occasions that I want them to win.
flamingsombrero
Regardless of the result we need to beat QPR to stand a chance which would put them straight back in their place. Therefore I would rather see Southampton dropping points. If we can't beat QPR it doesn't matter either way, we're going down.
jamdog
QPR haven't been great today at all - I don't think this will be a catalyst for anything. I think it's good to rattle Southampton's confidence.
flamingsombrero
Not a bad set of results to be fair, watch Liverpool **** it up for us now.
Rodders
exactly, jockeying for postion between 18th -20th is sad. We need to overcome the teams above us.If QPR finish above us we deserve to go down.
DeepDish
Yeah, only saw the last 10 minutes of the QPR game, commentators claimed Southampton had been the far superior team.
