Shillzz Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 So I'm off on my 'big' tour of SE Asia and Australasia next year, and am looking for some advice on travelling south through the Andaman coast. I will have 14 days to get from Bankok to Kuala Lumpur, and my provisional plans are as follows: Khao Lak - Use this as a base to visit the Similan Islands and Khao Sok National Park. Krabi - Relaxation, Kayaking into the mangrove forests and a bit of rock climbing. Ko Phi Phi - Monkey Beach, Bamboo Island. Ko Lanta - Relaxation and a bit more scuba diving. Then onwards on the train to Kuala Lumpur. Would really like to visit Turutao and Langkawi (Malaysia) in the South, but i don't think i'll have time to do it all, with the transport routes between the former islands making things a bit easier.
