Brumerican
Garibaldis are the Nickleback of biscuits . They're up there with Arrowroots and Morning Coffees.
choffer Posted January 30, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) Fruit is OK in a cake, but should never be allowed anywhere near a biscuit. Ordinarily I'd agree on this but there is one simply stunning exception. The excellent Borders Biscuits do a fantastic shortbread with teeny-tiny bits of strawberry in which is simply top-notch. (They also do a cranberry&orange and a glacé cherry version which are to be avoided). King of biscuits though is the formidable Velvety Honeycomb and Caramel from the range by Fox's Biskwitts. bickster Posted January 31, 2013 Moderator Share Posted January 31, 2013 Thumbs up for Garribaldis but I don't seem to be able to buy chocolate covered ones anymore I like chocolate and I like Orange but together combined it is one of the most heinous tastes that exists, my daughter feels exactly the same so chocolate orangeyness is barred from our house
Xann
Like chocolate orange, but the lemon chocolate in Thorntons is suspect and so's the M&S lemon chocolate bar. If they can't do it it must be a tricky mix, I'd eat rat pus pancakes from M&S.
