**** off randy lerner you utter prick you have ruined our club we were robbed today and itas jsut painful knowing our **** face owner is not gonna bother to allow lambert to strengthen this side.

benteke should have buried tht last minute chance very dissapointing im afraid our fate is not all but sealed however i believe its out of our hands and we are gonna need some serious luck to survive a heartbreaking year for us!

In before the hundred calls to sack Lambert.... a committee of Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola could not get this collection of inexperienced and frankly not good enough players to win.

I've not been a Villa fan (quite) long enough to follow a second-tier club, so for novelty's sake I'm already looking forward to next season. Cheer up, everyone.

Edit: Something about the match then. Very pleased with the second half, but we'll go down with this backline. Vlaar is much missed but, really, our fullbacks weren't up to scratch today. Puncheon had a field day.

Gabby needs to go, 1 goal in 39 premiership games. Get in a proper striker, get rid of Bent too, get a new midfield, a new defence, Wow I am depressed after that, complete and utter shit, some positives Delph & Bannan looked much better than Tuesday night. Bowery looked good as well.

Quite simply Lambert has to go. Football is a results business and quite frankly they have been appauling. Chelsea, Spurs, Southampton and hammered by Bradford too. The game is up Paul on you bike.

Dont forget Wigan

Good and very encouraging second half, now if we played like that every half we wouldn't be 17th. We're getting dire results but I can't remember one instance under McLeish where we were this positive. Poor and very disheartening result but that performance doesn't deserve the overreactions we're getting on this thread. Credit to Soton they defended well.

Shit first half performance, but if Lambert can keep us playing like we did in the second half I think there will be at least 5 teams below us come the end of the season. Big if, of course.

And what's with the boos at the end? A young team showing spirit and positivity and you shower them with boos, that will do wonders for their morale I'm sure.

wasnt a penalty so we deserved a draw

now in the bottom 3 and there is nothing in the team to suggest we can get oit

no desire, no passion, no ability but most importantly a manager who looks lost and focused and devoid of ideas.

unless we sign at least 6 players we're down - and i dont think we'll sign 1

most depressed i have ever been
