So now he has gone, its probably the wrong forum to ask, but, did Trump do anything good while in office?

A broken clock is right twice a day, so was just wondering if there was anything that could be considered a good decision?

He built about 50 miles of new wall and reinforced other areas, all at the expense of US taxpayers.

He didn't declare war on any State/engage the US in another conflict. A novelty for a US President.

The ying to the yang that his second term in office would probably have led to World War 3

Standing up to China is definitely required and least he did that (in his boorish style).

He started the ball rolling on breaking up the big tech monopolies. Biden will probably move that forward though he will likely water it down a lot.

What a day for democracy,

A new president takes power in front of his loyal following of insiders and corporate sponsors, protected by 25000 armed troops. A pretorian guard of sorts. Meanwhile, approximately none of the 80 million who voted for him turned up. They are currently banned from entering the holy city, for their own protection, of course.

Something, something hunger games.

Yes, because crowd size is all that matters on Inauguration Day.

Pushing other NATO countries to pay their fair share.

There is a chance that Trump got several countries talking to each other and to Israel, where previously they didn’t.

Though potentially, that might have been at the expense of the Palestinians.

This is Biden's biggest problem. What Trump has done is start what could completely change the status quo in the middle east. Who knows what happens if we continue down this path, but it's at least equally as messy to go back. Fascinating.

Still ignoring what happened on the 6th then, and in November. You can ignore it in your posts but everyone can also see you ignoring it in your posts. You've been clutching at straws for months as far as I can tell. I admire you exiting your bubble, but I really don't see what you get from a lot you say here.

I wouldn’t rush too fast on judging any action or reaction in the Middle East. We all have a proud history of not understanding the consequences of our actions in the Middle East.

But yes, it is an interesting alternative to a night of smart bombs and a tv announcement of mission accomplished, followed by ten years of hell. Which has been pretty much what the last few decades have involved, from Afghanistan to Libya and points of note in between.

Vast potential in the people of the region, dealt a shit hand by empire after empire.
