Apparently they are burning crosses in Alabama (again)

Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses...

Edit: It’s pretty ridiculous that that album was written nearly 30 years ago after the Rodney King beating and LA Riots but would still be just as relevant had it been released this year.

Does The Rock, or Dwayne have any qualifications what so ever apart from being famous and rich to make him suitable for a role in politics? Any at all?

Do you mean like say Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan?

Yes

Edit: Quick google says that Reagan was governor of California for almost a decade before running for president

"Sacked in the morning, you're getting sacked in the mooorning, you're getting sacked in the morning"

Wonder if Trump will play this off as if it was always intended or if he'll throw another hissy-fit?

Esper orders remainder of active duty troops in Washington region back to home base

Secretary of Defense Mark Esper has ordered the remainder of active duty troops who were brought to the Washington, DC, area to return to their home base of Fort Drum in New York, Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy said Friday.

CNN reported on Thursday that about 700 of the 1,600 active duty troops who were brought to the Washington area were returning to Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

If all the ones who think he's a fool would all just say so at once they wouldn't have to fear for their jobs.   He couldn't fire everyone all at once.   They wouldn't even need to have any balls to speak up if they did it that way.

It's not even just that.  There were what 40 cops there?  Did a single one of them report the 2 guys who did the push?  This lie like so many others is supported by a culture of silence.  Every single one of the cops there should be up in front of a disciplinary committee to explain why having witnessed the assault by two of their colleagues not a single one of them did anything about it or report it.

This is the problem. US Police forces are poison. They stand in solidarity with utter scum who abuse their position and attack members of the public.

What do you do, sack all of them and have no police at all?

The police have a completely unquestionable union it appears, so they won't break ranks even when it's bloody obvious one of their own has dropped a bollock. The statement of this lot resigning from the unit is maddening - 'they were told to clear the square, they did, they barely touched this guy and he tripped'. Nonsense.

Sack 'em all. words removed. It's one thing to stand by your colleagues, it's another to blindly do so when the wrong is staring you blank in the face.

All these videos of police violence, for the first time ever I’m beginning to see how gun ownership in the U.S. could makes sense.

It's not the ones on the receiving end of police brutality that are boarding all the guns!

But I agree. Honestly banning guns and all is nice but for the US, my position is that it's never going to happen so you might as well stock up! Wouldn't want the fascists to have all the guns.

Lindsey Graham has been accused of frequenting male escorts and getting them to call him ‘Lady G’.

I didn’t want to post the tweets as I have no idea where it originated but it gave me a chuckle.

edit - can’t see a source as apparently they’re talking to journalists and trying to break NDAs

We outnumber them

I know there's a general anti-Biden sense from some posters on here and he is considered a weak candidate by many.

Well yes, he's been in politics a long time and has been on the wrong side of many issues and often not really ahead of his time; But it's not all terrible: For example, here is Biden questioning Reagans Secretary of State George Schultz during Senate hearings on South Africa in 1986.
