Pot meet kettle.

I imagine he deleted the tweet because his demographic actually sees racist as a positive thing?

Trump deletes tweet calling Michael Bloomberg a ‘total racist’ after leaked audio

“WOW, BLOOMBERG IS A TOTAL RACIST!” the commander-in-chief tweeted early Tuesday along with a link to the audio clip.

Within minutes, the tweet had been taken down.

In leaked audio of Bloomberg’s speech, the Democrat sounded defiant in his acknowledgment of how the policy targeted minority kids in minority neighborhoods, arguing that they were targeted “because that’s where all the crime is.”

“Ninety-five percent of murders, murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take a description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops,” Bloomberg said.

Yes, I’m guessing most Trump supporters would be nodding vigorously at those Bloomberg quotes. Could be interesting if he gets the nod for the Democrats.

"Pick your favourite racist"

If Bloomberg is serious about the presidency he ought to sexually assault some women as well.

Broken clock etc. Deleting it makes it look like he cares about reception which goes against his Twitter persona though.

I think he deleted it because Bloomberg is a proper billionaire so Trump can't bully him.  Trump did his reflex say the first mean thing he can think of then had it pointed out to him that Bloomberg could take him to court and bring bigger badder lawyers for longer than Trump can handle.  It's school yard stuff, the bully that swung and accidentally hit a bigger kid.  Trump is still at his heart a coward.

Not looking good for Warren tonight. She needed to at least place 2nd, but so far she's coming in 4th.

Good riddance.

At 46yrs old, she was a registered republican, i.e., after Reagan and Bush I.

Banana Republic tactics

It probably doesn’t matter much, Trump will likely just pardon him anyway.

True, but this way Trump gets to take a swing at Barr's own prosecutors, four of whom just quit the case, and one guy just quit the DOJ entirely. This is another massive degradation of the system, basically. Lawless Trump and Diabolical Madman Barr are testing the country in a way I'm not sure anyone saw coming. The truth is up for grabs now.

Once a Republican Always a Republican

What an absolutely ludicrous concept.

If people didn't open their eyes and change their minds there would be no point to the political process (no matter how shit it is like in the USA)

I'm not really a fan of Warrren either but what you've just said is stupid nonsense. Bernie Sanders used to support the NRA, is he forever pro-gun?

It seems fairly reasonable to assume that the 78 year old Jewish socialist who won't call himself a Democrat winning the nomination process so far is not really how the Democrat Party would want things to be going. Naturally, you would expect a lot of elite-level coordination to be happening in the race, but somehow moderates have got themselves into the ludicrous position of having four candidates, each with a very plausible reason why they are stronger than the others: Buttigieg has the most delegates so far; Biden has the best position in national polls; Klobuchar has the most 'momentum' and arguably the best 'electability' argument; Bloomberg has more money than God. This is leading the moderates to split votes, while the smaller liberal camp are effectively lining up behind Sanders and abandoning Warren.

Since this is Not What Is Supposed To Be Happening, there will be some fightback, and we're seeing the first of it in Nevada, which votes next, and where the powerful Culinary Union have apparently started publishing flyers claiming Sanders will remove people's healthcare. Rather unsurprisingly, it turns out the Treasurer is on the board of #1 Hillary supporter Neera Tanden's thinktank. Expect more dirty tricks to come.

Perhaps you misinterpret and misconstrue his meaning by taking his message in a context which was unintended.

I tell you what is a ludicrous, some people, of authority and status included, have hidden agendas and create facades to market themselves as authentic and genuine.

I'm not saying that's the case with those relevant in the back and forth between @villakram and yourself bickster, but it's so, so rife throughout America's history.

Can't really blame anyone for mistakenly assuming it's happening in cases where it might not be, it's that prevalent. I understand you're only correcting what you think is inaccurate.

But to condescendingly deny someone (like I think you have) the notion that USA leaders are always true to their appearances and word is a bit flawed and off the mark as well.

Apologies if I am the one not reading and understanding things correctly here.

I'm hardly making any huge inferences. people make posts, I read them in English, if the universal nonsense translator isn't working, it's not my fault

Cheers!

Warren is all too similar to the hedge fund manager who retires at 32 having a giant bank balance and then suddenly finds a social conscience. So, now you care? Yes, I do place an asterisk beside such people and pay more attention to the words of those who paid attention to the world from the beginning. I mean, it's one thing to have a commie/neo-lib phase in University, but quite another to take an extra 20yrs to see how the wind is blowing.

Or more directly related to the above comment, see all the wealthy types who quietly voted for Trump or consistently for the Tories over in Britain, yet feel the need to publicly tell us how much they care.
