Doubt it. Harden is with Adidas for one. It's more like the black athlete being outspoken about something connection. Shut up and dribble etc.

But Houston Rockets NBA are Nike

It's funny because as tenuous as that connection is, the Rockets are the team that LeBron is speaking out against. They're the team having their merch pulled from the Nike stores in China because the owner supported the HK protesters. You can't have LeBron and Harden in that picture  . Like I said, terrible meme.

James Harden has apologized to China for his GM's opinion on China thou, so just like LeBron taking a stand against the people of Hong Kong and siding with China

Has he? I just saw him say he was staying out of the controversy and focusing on the upcoming season. That's actually hilarious. That explains why he's there then. Still confused about Kaep though. As far as I know he hasn't said anything about this.

Yeah, agree on Kaep.

Think he's there because Nike made that ad campaign with him about standing up for what you believe in and what not and now Nike are pressuring their athletes to stay silent or to back China.

Quote

Houston Rockets star James Harden attempted to mediate the growing divide between the team and fans in China after a now-deleted tweet by general manager Daryl Morey supported protesters in Hong Kong.

“We apologize. You know, we love China, we love playing there," Harden said on Monday alongside teammate Russell Westbrook in Tokyo, Japan, according to The Associated Press. "For both of us individually, we go there once or twice a year. They show us the most important love.

"We appreciate them as a fan base. We love everything there about them and we appreciate the support that they give us individually and as an organization."

Jeezus H, every day a new low for this scumbag Trump. Absolute turd of a human.

To be fair, although the way he expresses it is appalling, his decision to withdraw from Syria is a big advance on the prevailing neocon warmonger shite we've become accustomed to.

No, you don’t undo all those years of bad policy by facilitating the murder of families and allies.

That’s about as extreme a version of two wrongs absolutely not making a right as its possible to contrive.

You certainly shouldn't withdraw in an unplanned and chaotic manner with no regard for the consequences.

Given that Trump was clear in his election campaign that he would withdraw, and that he stated the same thing a year ago, why have no arrangements been made to effect a planned and orderly withdrawal?  Is it simply that the military-industrial complex doesn't want to, and think that by ignoring the requirement to withdraw, they can carry on funding and facilitating the destabilisation of the region and perpetual war?  The idea that this sprang suddenly from a phone call last week is nonsense - it's been his stated policy for literally years, and it's very obviously not what the neocons want to do.  The manner of doing it is impulsive and reckless, but why have the military and the administration not been preparing a planned and managed withdrawal for a very long time?

If they’d done three years of spreadsheets on how to leave families of allies open to war crimes and murder I’m not sure that would have been better.
