how?

46,501,241  eligible voters

17,410,742 voted leave

16,141,241 voted remain

26,033 ballots were spoiled/rejected

12,650,225 didn't vote / didn't care

I’m stunned so many people can’t find something better to do with their time!

You see no link between apathy towards politics and the current f**ked up situation in the UK?

Politicians fear us in numbers, when we're looking at them.

I went after work.

Mental turnout for a weekday.

There is nothing more galling than seeing on TV trump apologists/supporters having a say. If our media channels cannot differentiate between righteous or racist then balance as a concept is ****. **** the BBC but mostly **** trump. And **** everyone who sympathises with Trump, they may not know it, but they should be told to **** the **** off. **** them.

Probably because the amount of eligible voters is nothing to do with the people that were able to attend today, Plenty of kids there that can't vote.....

The entire population of this country was not 'able to attend today'.

If they 'cared' they'd be protesting down Oxford Street for a larger stadium, no?

? uhuh. I really doubt that many people care about the capacity of old trafford, The swathes of empty seats for cup cames would indicate that the interest isn't there for every game which i'm guessing is why they haven't spent hundreds of millions upping the capacity to closer to 100000.

Not really sure what old trafford has to do with Trump.

Some of those protestors today have some pretty interesting signs directed at someone they accuse of being intolerant & a bully.

But it's the left so everyone has to agree and you can do whatever you like, that's how it works isn't it?

As for the leader of the opposition being there speaking against Trump, that is even more rediculous than the stupid balloon, What does he think is likely to happen should he ever come to power.

Hi, London Calling can you help us out...

I seem to you remember standing in front of a large protest calling me a word removed

It's about 'caring', apparently.

It's probably about as relevant as your pulled out of your arse claim to know the thoughts of the majority of people in the country based upon the numbers of people protesting in London as a proportion of the entire population*.

The original point was about a poll that @terrytini saw on Sky. You responded with your out of your arse claim so that you could get a rather silly comment in about protesting. Each subsequent even more daft post that you've made on the 'caring'/protesting angle is getting ever further away from the fact that this was all about a claim you made that had no evidence to support it.

*Edit: or drawing a comparison with the footfall per hour on Oxford Street.
