How many countries have you been to?

Thanks man. It lacks real 'off the beaten track' countries though like Iran, Kazakhstan, Ecuador, etc before I can dare to call myself well travelled.

I'm on about the same number (early 30's) and hoping to add at least 3 new ones this year.

Can I have Mongolia?
Only if you saw The Beatles statue there :)

Yikes just counting that list makes 100 !!

I guess I need to remove Tibet and Zanzibar as they aren't countries so that puts me on 98

I'd better think of something decent for number 100 next year !!

good spot

I think i originally included it as a protest country as people on here started claiming it as meaning that they'd been to China  ... I mean I guess technically they have but it's akin to saying you've been to Canada because you've been to the USA

it's also on the wiki list along with Macau as Area of special sovereignty

tough call now as Turks and Caicos is clearly a country , yet it's not officially a country as it comes down as being UK overseas territory   ... but then if you count scotland , wales etc as countries then turk and Caicos also has to be counted

I'm going to have to find official rulling on this as I'd hate to plan my 100th country as some fantastic trip with cake and dancing girls  and find out it turns out to be 4 short  ..i'd hate to have to do the dancing girls again :D

England

Wales

Egypt

Pakistan

Not very good but I'm only 18, will hopefully add much more to that over a, hopefully, long life. :)

I did manage to crack my head open in Egypt when i was 14 and (i think) needed a blood transfusion all because I was riding a quadbike (even though it said clearly on the bike that I needed to be 16).

The worst thing was that it could've been easily avoided as (my dad, brother, cousin and I) had went quadbiking together and all was well. Second time around (on the same holiday), my brother and cousin were going again, so of course I wanted to as well. Dad said no, until some begging let him agree. Safe to say he wasn't too pleased!
