ED
The stat that blows my mind is 82 in a season, I still can't get my head around that. It looks like he'll beat it this season if he stays injury free.
Zatman
Messi is a very good player but it disgusts me that his card waving and diving are ignored by the media. If was Ronaldo for example it would be highlighted

villa4europe
haha not really, the guy gets absolutely battered in most games and just gets on with it ronaldo rightly gets highlighted because he is a complete and utter word removed, its safe to say his being a word removed video would be longer than 3 minutes
AVFCforever1991
Loads of Player's card wave, sure it's not sporting..
ED
That video is **** hilarious. Messi has played over 400 games in his career and nearly all have been televised. So easily 600 hours of footage of him out there, Someone (with an agenda) has compiled 3 minutes of footage (half of it must be replays as well) which mainly seem to be debatable penalties and a dive to the floor when he still had acne. Bravo [slow clap]
will87
Messi is a very good player Is he? I'd have just said good, I think you're getting a bit carried away there.
kurtsimonw
Congrats on winning the Copa Del Re Messi is a very good player but it disgusts me that his card waving and diving are ignored by the media. If was Ronaldo for example it would be highlighted Don't bother. Messi isn't allowed to be criticised. Any attempt to do so will be followed with "....but Ronaldo does this and that" in a thread. Jimzk5
Fellaini gets 3 match ban. Expected more than that, he teied to butt shawcross twice and punched him. 3 matches was very lenient.
Troglodyte Posted December 17, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 17, 2012 Messi does wave the imaginary card sometimes. It's quite possibly the only thing that even slightly annoys me about him. But really, who gives a ****? It's not uncommon, particularly in Spanish football, and half of the time he's got a point anyway. As for him diving, give me a break. The amount of times he could go over and doesn't is ridiculous. You never see him rolling around or making the most out of contact, either.
Troglodyte Posted December 17, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 17, 2012 Also, the man has scored NINETY goals this year, and I'd rather watch him play football live than have every Sky Sports News presenter give me a lap dance in turn. And that includes Jim White.

VillaGoMarching
did Gary Neville have much to say about our performance at the weekend?
Jimzk5
Reading just don't look good enough in any part of the pitch. Other teams down there look good in some areas, reading just look distinctly poor all over it.

Jimzk5
did Gary Neville have much to say about our performance at the weekend? A bit of praise for tekkers and how high his confidence, said we as a club bore him to tears, said were a 40k club with a good stadium but always gonna finish mid table, sometimes higher, sometimes lower but with younger players comes a togetherness that is only good for us. AVFCforever1991
3-0 Too easy for Arsenal, unless reading spend big in January, can't see them picking up enough points.
