R.I.C.O.
Ive had the 82 shirt for nearly 10 years and it has barely aged. It's not as white as it used to be (its become a bit faded over the years) but you couldnt really notice the difference. Cotton shirts are completely the way forward, class is permanent etc etc
CI
I've just checked the build quality of some of the older shirts and they were built to last longer. Thicker material, better stitching and good quality cuffs and collars .
dont_do_it_doug.
My 1982 shirt can take all sorts of punishment. I even washed it on a 95 wash once by mistake and it still survived completely intact. The current season shirts by Macron look tacky, ill-fitting and cheap. Even the training wear looks dire and cobbled together - and the whole lot will be made redundant in six months time. Do yourselves a favour and get yourselves a retro shirt, they are timeless! If you are all so desperate to have a crappy sponsor on there, get the 1992/1993 Muller ones! 92/93's shirt was sponsored by Mita Copiers and is probably the best football shirt of all time, in my opinion.
