I would swap Lamebert for Charlie Manson or Peter Sutcliffe. The guy is **** clueless, worst football I've ever see at Villa Park under him, and that includes Billy McBingo and Doctor Jo.
Demitri_C
Bruce over lamebert anyway. The 3rd season was worse than watching Sherwood teams and that's saying something
This Could Be Rotterdam
Theres no way id ever take Lambert back here. This does strike me as him trying to work his way out with some integrity rather than walk though. Could see him ending up at Norwich again which would be the make or break for his career. He had a team at Norwich that fit, but he hadn't been that productive anywhere else.
Xela
Why don't Fosun just appoint Mendes as manager and get it over and done with. They'll destroy the club. The next Blackburn.

Throwing his toys out the pram and spouting off to the press to make himself look better I think! Still the same drab losing manager he was when he was here and full of excuses. Most Wolves fans I know are sick of Lambert and say how the style is boring, baffling tactics, delusional post match etc etc etc. Same things when he was here

dudevillaisnice
No different to Valencia really, when it works great but when it doesn't.. Jorge Mendes is in there for one reason and one reason only and club well-being isn't one of them. Valencia were dangerously close to relegation this season not that Mendes would care, he quite could easily move on to another desperate club and do the same again. I understand why people don't like Lambert from his time here, but this notion that he's 'making excuses' or being unreasonable in some way just doesn't meet the reality of *this* situation. I can't agree with that. I rated most of his signings including the ones which didn't work out. The only players he signed which I didn't rate at least to an extent were Bowery, El Ahmadi and Richardson. Benteke, Vlaar, Gil, Okore, Bacuna, Westwood, Senderos, Kozak, Cissokho, Lowton and Sylla in my eyes were all very good signings with a lot of potential. We were also consistently being linked to quality players during that period. My view is he assembled a seriously underrated squad - probably better than he realised himself but failed to get much out of them. I think he lacks a degree of self confidence or self belief which holds him back from becoming a top quality manager. Michael118
Yeah I thought he had more to offer than what we saw. I would have liked to have seen him given more of an opportunity.

Shit football, shit tactics, no idea about subs, mumbling interviews, we go again, **** muppet. 15-0 to Chelski Spuds and Wigan should have seen him booted out, and the semi final defeat to Bradford was also sackable. rodders0223
You can't really blame him for shit signings when we were spending £800k - £2m a pop and the likes of Okore and Kozak were considered marquee extravagant purchases.
