As a barrister ( i think he is) it might be concluded that he has a passing knowledge of English Civil Law and therefore the Law relating to Defamation . If Mr Clattenburg seeks damages through the Courts, I hope he doesn't forget this individual's part in it all. Just an opinion of course. He's been suspicious quiet though hasn't he? He should have verified what he 'thought' he heard was correct and if he wasn't sure well shouldn't have made an issue in the first place. He's an idiot and I hope they fine or ban him for being a monumental moron who has, through his idiocy, had some poor bloke dragged through the mud for the last couple of weeks.
