Montenegro are only down so low as this is their 3rd tournament in 10 years they will be Pot2/3 team and Poland are ranked bad as tehy hadnt played a competitive game between 2009-2012

The ranking system is terrible anyway, basically just guarantees that all/most the money making teams qualify every time.. Woul be much fairer to scrap all seedings for qualifiers. Could end up with a group of the likes of Scotland, Wales, Ireland etc together then a "group of death" of the likes of Spain Germany Italy... Would give smaller nations a lot more opportunity to qualify

England = Aston Villa

Bad choices by the idiots in charge, who have awful control on finances, throw money at the wrong managers and are clueless.

Hahaha you forgot to add, once great but haven't won anything of note for yrs. currently looking to rebuild a new team with players who aren't quite ready for it.

I would like that too, but they want the rich countries with the most fans (who tend to be the better football nations) in it for as long as possible. You can sell a Brazil vs Spain final for much more money than Spain vs Ireland. A country like Brazil going out in the group stages because they were in a group with Spain, Argentina and Germany would be a disaster financially for FIFA. Look at the year England failed to qualify - so much revenue lost because English fans and English TV stations lost interest and wouldn't pay top dollar.

Completely disagree with you guys. Seedings is the best way to do it because I want to see the best teams, and the best players at the world cup. A qualifying group with Germany, Italy, Spain and France, turkey and then another group with Cyprus, Moldova, Georgia, finland, latvia.

So you would have a scenario where Italy are not at the world cup, but finland are.

No thanks.

Yeah when Serbia and Montenegro split in 2007, all but one one of the 2006 serbia and montenegro squad chose to play for serbia instead of montenegro. Yet looking at how montenegro performed in the euro qualifiers when they were englands group, and again in this qualification process, I would argue they have come out better then Serbia.

Don't know how Montenegro are so good with a smaller population than Birmingham.

dont know how China and India are so bad when have bigger population than Europe?

Touché but can be explained by the sport not being that popular in those countries.
