Popular Post useless
Why are people on here so obssessed with Leeds, it's not as if they're doing anything remarkable, nothing exceptionally bad or exceptionally good, to warrant all this attention. 5

Tomaszk
Posted plenty of times on here about Raphinha. Exactly what we needed. A really dynamic RW to take the pressure of Jack and bring something different. Shame. Oh, also @striker quite poor from Ancelotti today don't you think? Readymade blueprint right there for him from Palace and Leicester and he couldn't follow it?

I'm not entirely sure what your point is, but "one of those players" scored the winner today and at least 3 (Meslier, Koch, Raphina) started today. Not sure about Arsenal, but you didn't win that game so bit odd to bring it up.

They had injuries on key players against us. Didn't stop them from performing at a high level. Edited November 28, 2020 by villalad21
VillaChris
2 hours ago, bobzy said: It’s true, but they have spent something like £85m this season. I doubt many other clubs have spent that amount (us, Chelsea... any others?) Don't think Llorente has even played yet and he was about 15m. Rodrigo been in and out and he was 30m so half of their outlay hasn't even featured that much so far. From what they've shown so far their level is far above bottom 3. Can see them being a good 15-20 points clear of 18th.

People were genuinely tipping Everton to challenge for the title in some of the press articles I saw. Now an injury or two to key players and Hames not liking winter very much and it's 4 defeats from 5 and they weren't great defensively v Fulham either. HanoiVillan
Everton have this weird thing where they often look worse than the sum of their parts IMO. They struggled in wide areas today though, obviously going to miss Digne over the next couple of months. Back on the topic of Leeds, confirmed hater though I am, I have to admit I do enjoy watching them. Klich and Phillips is a good midfield for a promoted side.

If Newcastle didn't have Bruce as manager I doubt their thread would be bumped that much either, would probably get same traffic as the West Ham one which I haven't seen in a long while. Ultimately that 2018-19 season sparked a whole level of re-interest and the thread was getting bumped up regularly last season even though we were in different divisions. And every loss will be followed by people gloating about how they always knew we were shit. Every win will have villalad talking about how actually were quite good. Probably hit 300 pages the next time we meet 1
tinker Posted November 29, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted November 29, 2020 Meslieris one hell of a keeper, brilliant save to stop Everton going one up early in the game. We talk about Leeds because their a big club and their an interesting project . What I like about them is they show no respect for reputations, you have to earn anything against them .

The original post stated we’d spent £85 million improving our team. When in reality the 2 players that didn’t play last season were Koch & raphinha & cost a total of £30million between them. The rest are the championship team from last season. 6 of that team yesterday came were playing in the team that came 15th in the championship before bielsa Now there’s been many posts on this thread before saying Leeds’ squad looks poor. Yet here we are Leeds outplaying the likes of Everton, arsenal, villa & plenty of other teams. that’s why Bielsa gets the attention he does.

sne
I like Bielsa but have no real opinion about Leeds either way as a club. The top knot thing is a bit funny and their games are generally entertaining to watch as a neutral compared to the likes of Burnley, Sheff U, Newcastle and so on so much rather they stay up as long as Bielsa remains.
