Media and punditry

More likely because less people will recognise him.

Majority of football fans don't care about good analysis and punditry. They care about what that bloke that used to play for Man Utd or Chelsea thinks about the game.

I'd love proper football journalists to be pundits on shows. But nobody would watch it, unfortunately.

They all work for The Athletic now anyway, TV can't afford them.

I'd forgotten Reo-Coker even existed until yesterday but thought he was surprisingly good.

He is an impressive character, young captain, good leader, good talker, clearly intelligent...unfortunately he would struggle to pass wind and with his agent blowing smoke up his arse severely overestimated his abilities.

Mourinhob talking about football principals, trying to explain to viewers about the phases of play. Good stuff.

Saw him do punditry for Champs League and World Cup. He is brilliant as you would expect from his CV. Wenger also the same

At one point the others started getting into heated debate and didn't seem to be making much sense at all - Neville was tying himself in knots and Souness just wanted to jump in at every opportunity. Mourinho just sat there throughout until they asked him about it and he basically shifted away from their dumb argument.

Mourinho criticizing Lampard in his first day as Chelsea manager.

Jose got no respect for anyone.

Was it factual and well constructed criticism or did he just slate him?

Criticized him for not playing more experience which is fair enough.

But he were referring to experienced players who were unfit for the game so it was total nonsense. Should have done his homework beforehand.

I got caught up in the hype of being back in the Premier League and decided to watch Sunday Supplement. My god what utter drivel that was.

Martin Samuel and Neil Custis are as odious on the tele as their articles and twitter!

A pair of insufferable clearings in the woods if there ever was one. Being able to write 500 words about football, but filling the column inches with barely any actual analysis, just loads of guff and bluster with big words, doesn’t make you any kind of expert on the game.

Football 365 mediawatch page calls out shit journos. No surprise these 2 and the host of Sunday Supplement are regulars

Time to move Souness on, he's a permanently agitated old presence who rarely demonstrates a deep understanding of the game, offers nothing.

He, like Keane, is just there to be a miserable, old school, angry at everything about modern football word removed. Unfortunately there's probably a lot of people who hate modern football too who love them

Souness looked like his time was up over the weekend, he regularly couldn't recall teams and matches and looked like his mind was slowing down, struggling to make his points.

He was just holding in his Pogba hatred
