Haha, maybe Weimann and Gabby are not weak links either then? Sorry but, a decent performance against a truly woeful Hull by all accounts does not over shadow the dross that these players have dished up for the last 2 years. After Leyton Orient, Sunday was a step in the right direction. Let's see if they can do what they have never done before and be consistent with that step. That said, that doesn't always happen at VP. Nah, the weight of the pass and the delivery of it at just the right moment so that the defender couldn't get to it and so that Bent could run onto it and hit it first time was pure class. Most players could probably see the pass and try it, but it's not as easy to execute it as expertly. Those are the types of passes that Ozil for example executes regularly and deservedly receives the plaudits for. Not saying Westwood is anywhere near that level but the fact that he has it in his locker is very promising and I suspect we'll see more of that now that he'll presumably have more freedom when Sanchez gets up to speed. No wonder you seem like such a negative **** then if that's the bare minimum standard you expect from any pro at all. Jokes aside, it was a good pass IMO but if Gerrard had done we'd have 10 minutes of arrows and yellow boxes analysis explaining to us why it proves he's literally Scouse Jesus.
