smetrov
Thought he turned the match for us today. Key winning of corners and crosses for the all important 3rd goal - would have loved him to score. Can he cut it at this level on a regular basis ? probably not. - but good effort/performance from him today.

vandaq
Good for him, was definently his best match. Was mad when he didn`t pass it back to Weimann but he pulled off a decent shot.

Jay.P.A
He was immense. Well done lad, it seems as if you've changed the opinion of some of the fans. Played well, and showed character to come back and produce a display like that after scoring the own goal.

None of us knew he had that in him, maybe he'll keep surprising? The manager obviously sees something in him on the training ground anyway Edited May 3, 2014 by P3te
benireduk
I'm sure I wasn't the only one thinking Bowery for Gabby, what is Lambert doing?!? Fair play to Lambert and J Bo though. He was great. Offered an outlet and set up a goal. To be fair to the lad, he hasn't had much gametime other than 10-15 min appearances here and there, so maybe he just needed chance? A completely unexpected performance.

Popular Post DeepDish
Well done for not being a **** up once and because of that don't worry about the loss of points your presence has contributed to in the past. You won't be playing next season or ever again. Bye. Can you provide a list of the matches where Jordan Bowery's presence has led to loss of points? Was it the 4-0 loss against Tottenham in the cup where he came on the pitch in the second half when we already were losing? Or was it the 10 min appearance when we won 3-2 against City? Or was it the 15 min appearance when we drew 0-0 against Hull? Or was it the 2 min appearance when we won 2-0 against Cardiff? Or was it the 23 min appearance when we lost 2-1 against Stoke? Yes, maybe it was that as Stoke scored 3 minutes after Bowery entered the pitch. Maybe it was the 23 min appearance when we lost 1-0 against Crystal Palace in the 90th minute? Well, it can't be the 1 min appearance when we lost 2-1 against Fulham since we were already 2-1 down when Bowery entered the pitch. These are the only matches where Bowery has had playing time and it really seems that you are easily worried if this is the reference points for your fear that Bowery will lose Aston Villa lots of points.
Rob182
I'm sure I wasn't the only one thinking Bowery for Gabby, what is Lambert doing?!?I didn't. You know what you get from Bowery. He always gives 100%, and that was the way that Lambert set out the team Today. Energetic, strong, passionate, chasing every ball and getting back to defend as a team.

I just thought Lambert would go for Holt, which I'm glad he didn't by the way. I'd actually have thought Robinson would've got the nod ahead of Bowery. I think Robinson is still probably a bit raw, but let's hope him and a few of our other youngsters get some games this or next season!
