If we had taken care of our own business against Fulham we wouldn't have needed to worry so much about today

Inevitable other sides were going to win and turn themselves around i think we will be ruing the fact we failed to take all 3 points from that game

A very poor day for Villa. But we shouldn't have to be relying on others results to keep us up.

The only positive is Wigan losing.

The games against Sunderland, Norwich and Wigan are the ones we should be targeting to get results from.

we need a point against Utd. It will be the greatest acheivement of the season if we can get a point there. Keeps us within Norwich and 4 away from Wigan. Massive game.

Could have been worse.

Still think we should set up in a McLeishian way against United. We need the point

We can't handle pressure though. As soon as we're pushed into our third, a goal is inevitable.

We may as well set up for the attack and take the game to them. Do all the closing down in the middle of the park and push them back into there third. They can have 90% possession if they want. We just can't let them push our back 4 into our box.

I do worry a bit now to the Sunderland game. They've definitely ended up with the new Manager buzz. It could just be 2 freak results, which is what I'm hoping, but they don't look as terrible as they did with O'Neill. Please Villa, ANYTHING from this United game will give us a massive boost!

Villa 0-3 Wigan

Villa 0-1 Southampton

Villa 1-2 Newcastle

= why we will go down.

Nah, the moment people will remember is Delph's headed own goal and his follow-up open goal miss.

He must be so desperate to do something to help the team in the next match.
