8pints
Do we have an Italian player? Who was the best Italian to play for Villa? Benito Carbone? he even played for our Soccer sevens legends team.
Archie
Rumours has it in Italy that Villa is on Simone Farina as a youth coach. Not an outstanding player, he played only in the lower divisions, but an example of honesty as he denounced a companion that attempted to make a match-fixing: http://astonvilla-views.com/2012/08/08/speculation-villa-in-for-farina-avfc/

Archie
Tuscany (where I'm lucky enough to have a friend with a beautiful VILLA) is my favourite region in Italy, mates, and it's also much loved by Englishmen, as you confirm. . .

Correct, mate, even our familiar badge is claret and blue (apart that it is a horse and not a lion). 8)
PompeyVillan
I love how in a country with such a rich football history there are people who are as enthusiastic about Villa as we are.

Archie
Grazie Lapal, and thanks mates. Here the claret and blue colours are displayed in San Gimignano, another beautiful, medieval, VILLA (this time the word is used in its secondary meaning of small village) in Tuscany - Italy. With its beautiful towers that were financed and built by the main and richest families, it can be considered the New Yprk of the Middle Age :winkold: .
