The_Rev
All first team footballers have now left Portsmouth, with Liam Lawrence being the last man out today.
trekka Posted August 10, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted August 10, 2012 Although I don't spend much time there nowadays as I'm based elsewhere, I moved to Portsmouth with work 4 years ago (I love the place!). I'm really quite saddened by the whole affair. I have no affection for the team in itself but the loss to the city is enormous. It is a proud footballing city and everywhere you look you see the flags of PFC (and it is / was a proud city of its team). I'm so sorry for the fans that in the end their team was managed by a bunch of cockbadgers.
coda
Every Premier League side should give Portsmouth a player. I volunteer Alan Hutton.
The_Rev
Even though they dont have any players I dont think Alan Hutton would get into their team.
The_Rev
The Pompey 2013 calendar is almost out of date ten days into the year. And Newcastle fans thought they had it bad because Demba Ba was January in their calendar.
Rodders
They're going down again. Do they have a manager?
Czechlad
They're going down again. Do they have a manager? Guy Whittingham is the interim manager at the moment. He will stay as caretaker until the club exits administration, as the club cannot appoint a permanent manager until then. Pompey currently have 15 players on their roster. 4 players, including their captain, are leaving the club on the 15th. They sit in 22nd with 21 points. One win and they are out of the relegation zone. Although it honestly would be a miracle if they don't get relegated or if the club doesn't fold.
