There's a fair bit of experience in that defence, just not PL experience. Lichaj has got a bit of experience, Lowton has played a lot (admittedly in lower tiers), Clark was used extensively last season and Vlaar is a Dutch international. It's lacking PL experience but we're talking about Warnock here. The defence would be a lot better off without him in it. PL experience is vastly overrated IMO anyway. By the looks of it, PL has identified him as a CB. Starting line-up against West Ham (considering current injuries and knocks) .............Given Lichaj.Vlaar.Clark.Stevens (unless we sign a new LB) ........Delph.KEA N'Zogbia.Ireland.Holmann .............Bent Three behind Bent to rotate and support midfield and attack.
