Mattyp_avfc
No thanks..... for that price we could get Guidetti (6m) and a Left Back (Cresswell or Bennett) so...... NO!
dudevillaisnice
Tom Ross @thegoalzone We understand #Wolves have rejected a 10 million pound bid from Sunderland for striker Steven Fletcher..... Chief Exec Jez Moxey wants to keep last season's top scorer and would only let him go if an offer was impossible to refuse #wwfc No worries MON will bid more
BOF Posted July 30, 2012 Moderator Share Posted July 30, 2012 That's a serious bid to turn down. A little bit of respect to Wolves there.

TrentVilla Posted July 30, 2012 Moderator Share Posted July 30, 2012 Nah.. they know it is O'Neill they are dealing with, right now O'Neill is trawling through his MoTD Premier League Panini sticker album from last season circling targets and scribbling out anyone with a foreign sounding name. Soon he will have completed both his scouting and his shortlist comprising of Kevin Davies, Emile Heskey and Steven Fletcher before returning with a deadline day final offer of £14m. Doyle, ebanks Blake then they have signed siggurdson who comes with a good record...then nouble to do the donkey(heskey) role

8pints
I think he's a great player and would link up with Bent very well but at 10m or more there could be better options available.

8pints
CI I don't see how he would work with Bent at all He's a centre forward who likes to do a lot of work just outside the box, part target man, part deep lying playmaker. He has an eye for a pass and seems quite sharp. He's quite a selfless player in some respects and will do the work around the box to look for someone to be in the right position to knock it in, which bent will be. It'll be a partnership of two players working to each others strengths. Fletcher would win the ball and look to put it in a dangerous area and Bent will consistently offer him an option.
