rjw63
Rover 75 Tourer diesel (like mine) Almost 50 mpg Loads of boot space Looks good Pretty fast (BMW 2 litre diesel lump) Bodywork never rots And you could get a top spec for around 2K
PompeyVillan
Aye, but in the current day it doesn't make much sense to me to spend a lot of money on a car. I wouldn't buy new personally, because I can't afford it really.

chrisp65
That car should've saved Rover. Absolutely fraudulent the way they died in the end.

BOF Posted June 26, 2012 Moderator Share Posted June 26, 2012 He's 'not sure if serious' to the comment 'Looks good'. FWIW I think the 75 is a lovely looking car and it appears as though Rob got himself a good one. But over here Rovers are decoration for motorway hard shoulders and it's that reputation that didn't help them in the end.
rjw63
Strangely enough my 75 is a "Club" variant, pretty low spec normally. But it already had leather seats, rain sensing wipers, computer instrument pack, self dimming rear view mirror etc. I've upgraded to 16 inch alloys, real wood dash, electric heated seats anda few other luxuries :-) It's really like a hobby
Fuse
Don't disagree, but it's a seriously well built machine and probably will be massively ok for 200,000 miles Awesome car for that sort of lolly & you can easily get 3 sets of clubs in the boot Great car but insurance plus wear an tear and you won't get much change out of £5k per year and that's before you put fuel inside!
