They only let him go because he asked for £30k as a kid and they said no, despite him being way above anything that was in their youth side. He was always gonna be a star. It used to be that in a penalty shoot-out once the ball didn't go directly in, it wasn't a goal. Once it's travelling away from the goal (after hitting the post) it's a miss.
