KjParton Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I agree - think it should always continue! Would be nice to have a plaque on it
Popular Post mark359 Posted November 16, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2014 Sorry for the late update this year. The trophy was presented to Fabian Delph by Paddys dad Barry. Fabian was very greatful to receive the award and hear about Pats story. The trophy was presented in the tunnel after the Arsenal game in September, but we have only just received the photo through from the club. Thanks again for all your support. Looking forward to seeing who wins this season 13
dont_do_it_doug. Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Thanks Mark! RIP Paddy. Never forgotten.
Stevo985 Posted November 18, 2014 VT Supporter Posted November 18, 2014 Fabian could have looked a bit happier about it! Only kidding. Thanks for the update, fantastic to hear the trophy is still going. RIP Paddy
AValon Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 An award from the heart. Means so much more. 2
HanoiVillan Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Was this decided for last season? I'd be interested to know who VT's 'man of the season' was, even if I suspect he's no longer with the club any more.
mark359 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 This is in the process of being sorted out at the moment. Unfortunately yeah we have had to go for the runner up so this will be presented to Hutton.
Popular Post mark359 Posted November 25, 2015 Popular Post Posted November 25, 2015 Last years player of the season trophy finally got presented yesterday to Alan Hutton. Unfortunately the club have changed their procedures on player presentations and wouldn't let us actually present the trophy so they did it in our absence. Alan was given the trophy along with a letter explaining what its all about. We are working hard to try and get them to allow us to present the trophy in person from next season again, 14
HanoiVillan Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Really happy to see this was awarded, and thanks to Alan for his hard work for the club. It's been a pretty miserable season and a half, I'm glad the trophy to a guy who always works puts in 100%. 3
Stevo985 Posted November 27, 2015 VT Supporter Posted November 27, 2015 Glad to see the trophy still going. Well done to Alan. Would love to hear his thoughts on the trophy if he was able to give them.
HanoiVillan Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 At some point this season, I'm not sure when, the post-match voting for Man Of The Match was abandoned, so I doubt we have enough data. I suppose we should have realised which way this season was heading when we had to award the trophy to the third-placed finisher last season after numbers one and two were sold in the summer. I hope we reinstate MOTM voting and the trophy next season, and that we have a season worthy of both of those things.

Almost no-one voted either way. Feel free to create your own.

NurembergVillan Posted May 2, 2016 Moderator Posted May 2, 2016 If we had a vote on here I'd pick Stan Collymore.
Tubby Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Kevin Toner - better attitude and performances than most of the other orrible lot
