£20-£25 million is plenty if you spend it right

Look at Newcastle.

Cisse - 9m

Ba - Free

Cayabe - £4.3 million

Santon - £5 million

Ben Afra - £5 million

Toite - £3.5 million

Total - £26.5 million

We can get a bit more buy selling players

If we don't spent it on palyers already playing in the UK that is...

If we do £20 million gets you 1 Jordan Henderson or part of Andy Carroll

I tend to think that people in particular that call it Twatter are my nans age and are suspicious of the white mans magic talky picture box that contains the internets.
You could be right. How old is your nan?

INCOGNITO AVFC ‏@INCOGNITOAVFC

Compensation settlement figure was discussed & determined with Norwich yesterday. Was just a case of concluding & finalizing today. #avfc

Hopefully official announcement tonight.

Lambert's reputation for signing oversees players is as bad as it gets. At Livingston he never looked past the front door. At Wycombe Wanderers I don't believe his continental European scouting network was much to write home about and at Colchester United it was one of the main criticisms of his tenure and it was why they were glad to see the back of him.

Whats Lambert's reputation like signing players from abroad by the way ?

I actually don't think this matters, it is about the vision he can put forward and the fee we pay.

At Livingston he brought in players from Belgium, Austria, Ireland & Italy. Althought the one from Italy was Paul Dalglish. Interestingly enough he also signed Wes Hoolahan who is now at Norwich then as well from Shelbourne.
