Worst season of home results in our history!

After a three hour journey that felt like double that, I got back to Bournemouth from VP just over an hour ago. I cannot sleep, still feel sick and now also feel totally humiliated!

Founded in 1874 and after almost 140 years it has come to this!

Think about it!!!!!!

THE ****** WORST SEASON OF HOME RESULTS IN OUR HISTORY!!!!!

We have been brought to our knees IMO by the most incompetent manager in my 50+ years following the club. Our "Proud History" has been sullied by THE most incompetent owner we have ever had and we are clinging to our status as an ever present member of the premier league by our finger tips!

I am sad, frustrated, angry, pissed off but the worst is that I feel ****** HUMILIATED!!!

:cry:

If you survive this season, you have a chance if you hire the right manager.

Vincenzo Montella from Catania or maybe... Paolo Di Canio 8)

At some point even a man of Lerner's limited ability must realise he should delegate responsibility to someone who knows something about football.

You'd like to think so CB.

But after having to nervously look over our shoulder well into April last season, it looks like he wanted to go one better!

How else to you explain selling our player of the year last season (Downing) and then appointing a relegation specialist like McPish. A truly woeful decision - and one we might feel the consequences of for years to come.

Good luck against United - anything that pisses on Ol' Laughing Boy Fergiescums cornflakes is fine by me.

How about a round of applause for all the brave and cunning leaders of Aston Villa Football Club who have achieved this amazing distinction.

Randy, Paul, Alex.... take a bow, you **** bozos.

Looking at that piss poor effort last night where do we go from here? Those players lookied lost, leaderless and clueless and got no help other than McEck doing in impression of a helicopter on the side.

IF we go down, and I think we will now, how many of those will stay? What will be be left with and where the hell does RL think he is taking us?

A slight tactical decision by Coyle totally **** McEck over as he had no answer and didn't know what to do

It pisses me off that we are in this situation.A proud club,a great club,a big club. And we have been brought to our knees by a stupid ignorant manager and an owner that MUST have some hidden agenda when he bought the club.Unlike Mike, I don't feel humiliated but I do feel betrayed.With McIdiots training and tactics he is not only ruining our club but he is also ruining our future as well.

.....and a big shout out to that well-known football expert Charles Krulak "We'll finish somewhere between 4th and 9th". When the going gets tough the tough go missing!

Thankfully though McLeish is going to 'fight on' :cry:

The worst thing about this whole shambolic mess is that it was so avoidable. The buck stops with the owner and he is totally culpable for the current situation as he has made poor decision on poor decision.

Mike I admire your spirit in completing a round trip of 340 miles, I found it hard enough to make the journey from Sutton Coldfield last night.

Really not happy with how this is being reported in the media, Still saying it's to do with his blose connections, the facts are damning enough if only the media would report them.

Worst home record in our history.

Dropped more points from winning positions than any other team.

Conceded most goals from set pieces.

failed to score from a corner all season.

The bloke has to go.

Cheers mate! :)

I think you already have enough points to stay up, hope you get a decent manager for next season.

We've also got one of the worst win ratios in the entire football league. Only Wolves, Doncaster, Rochdale, Hereford and Macclesfield have a lower league win ratio in England than Aston Villa this season - Mail

How have other managers been sacked yet our ginger ball sack remains?!?!?

It's worth remembering that we PAID for this idiot.

It's official. The 2-1 defeat last night to Bolton means that Aston Villa are in an authentic battle for Premier League survival. The club are now just three points above the bottom three and have won just one of their last 13 games. Villa's home record is the worst in the club’s history — in any division — and manager Alex McLeish is facing a third demotion from the Premier League in four seasons.

The Villa Park faithful are in open rebellion and it is difficult to see how the former Birmingham City manager will win over a fanbase that was sceptical of him when he was appointed.

He claims he has the backing of American owner Randy Lerner and chief executive Paul Faulkner but with only three games remaining it's hard to see where the points needed for survival will come from.

The slow decline in Villa's fortunes since the departure of Martin O'Neill has accelerated under the hapless manager

The above is from the Guardian

They go on to show our win percentage under various managers:

Gregory = 42%

O,Neil = 40%

Brian Little = 38%

Ron Atkinson = 37%

Dave O,Leary = 34%

G.Houlier = 31%

G.Taylor = 29%

McIdiot = 20%
