That's similar to what I've been using, though I've got Familar (ice) Teleport (arcane) and Storm Armour (lightning) to proc the Tal Rasha set bonus. Still only got 2 bits of Firebird. Four bits of Tal Rasha.

Diablo 4 expected to be revealed at Blizzcon later!

Nope, just a new class.

I'm more excited by the Diablo 1 20th anniversary edition.

Some vague rumours I saw included a remake of D1 as a dungeon for D3 (though that might be a) totally false b. me misreading that 1 line comment totally wrong) and another couple of zones for RoS coming next year.

Might be time to dust off the Firebird Wizzard and see how much it's been nerfed in the last 3 months... :D  Though I did have grand plans at whichever season started in April to level up with 2 of my old WoW chums - which ended with me powerlevelling one of them for an hour before they stopped playing, so it'll be solo play again :P

One thing I didn;t catch in the announcement is that the new class, Necromancer, needs to be paid for...I laughed. Blizzard really does **** their Diablo fans.

Expansion exclusive, fine, I'll pay for a class along with some new content. Paying for just some new abilities? **** off. This game is done.

What?!   Well, I suppose it'll be worth it considering all the regular updates and continuing development they're so keen to keep piling onto the game...

Edit, some more details apparently (spoilerized to save on space):

DIABLO III: REAPER OF SOULS @ BLIZZCON 2016 OVERVIEW:

It’s been 20 years since the original heroes of Sanctuary — the Warrior, Rogue, and Sorcerer — first descended into the labyrinth beneath Tristram’s Cathedral. At BlizzCon 2016, the legacy of Diablo lives on! In the coming year, we’ll be celebrating the series’ legacy by releasing a thrilling assortment of updates to the acclaimed action role-playing game.

Diablo III will pay homage to its roots with a special 20th Anniversary Dungeon that will transport players to the dark and gritty labyrinth from the original Diablo. Diablo III also welcomes its newest playable hero—the Necromancer!

DIABLO III: REAPER OF SOULS @ BLIZZCON 2016 FEATURES:

20th Anniversary Dungeon: The original Diablo labyrinth is back in Diablo III form.

Nostalgia Can Be Deadly: Recreated the events, monsters, and levels from the original Diablo.

Fresh(ened up) Meat: Original Diablo, The Butcher, Skeleton King, and Lazarus return as epic boss fights.

Presented in Glorious RetroVision™: Special ‘90s-inspired audio and visual filters for that “classic” look.

The Necromancer: Wield the power of the dead with Diablo III’s newest playable hero class.

Explore Deadly New Zones: The foul stench of evil continues to spread across Sanctuary.

Master of the Dark Arts: Her magic draws from the power of blood and bone.

The Old Skills and the New: Command an Army of the Dead, control a mighty Blood Golem… and make all the corpses EXPLODE!

Necromantic Sets and Legendaries: The Necromancer will be able to collect many rare treasures of unearthly power, including new Legendaries and Set items.

Rise of the Necromancer Pack will include the character, an in-game pet, two character slots, two stash tabs, a portrait frame, pennant, banner and banner sigil. (Pricing TBD)

Shrouded Moors: This harsh, inhospitable land has been abandoned for centuries. But something stirs within its perpetual fog—as though a dark presence has taken hold.

Temple of the Firstborn: An ancient monument to the earliest nephalem. The temple is hidden beneath the surface of Sanctuary, where it has escaped the notice of most mortals.

Seasons Coming to Console: Console and PC Seasons will align in Season 10

Console Seasons will include the Season Journey, Leaderboards, and all rewards and cosmetics.

Had a go on the PTR (I'll leave the moaning about the changes they made in August to the Firebird set here: BAH) last night, was good fun - though I've only ever spent a few hours in D2 and never touched D1 so the nostalgia factor was somewhat wasted on me.

Spoiler

Though despite that, it was nice to be surrounded by the old sounds and seeing all the mouse tooltips appear in Exocet.

The boss fights might have had more impact if I'd had played the earlier games (and if I turned up the difficulty a bit I suppose) and the graphical "fixes" were something I could take or leave.
