NurembergVillan Posted January 3, 2007 Moderator Share Posted January 3, 2007 Let's stop the witch hunt - we can sit and wait to see if anything does happen now I sit and wait. Does Juan Angel, contemplate his fate? And does he know Whether Jermain Defoe Will stay or be sold? ´cos AWOL's been told There's a story, that will soon unfold So when I’m lying in my bed Thoughts running through my head And I feel the deal is dead We'll keep our Angel instead. Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.

Condimentalist
Blimey, I go and watch a film, come back and it's a mad-house on here!! Awol it's going to be a big week or so for you, if Jermain signs you'll be a hero. More likely you'll be ridiculed, but I'm open-minded. Perhaps Jermaine just said that Robbie Keane would sign? That seems more likely TBH.
Rocafella
1) The "informants" are three people with very low post-counts, two of them which uses "SMS-lingo" 2) They write very similar 3) They go away for equal amount of time 4) WHY WOULD JERMAIN DEFOE CHECK IN AT A HOTEL USING HIS OWN NAME? WOULDN'T VILLA RESERVE FOR HIM? = This is utter, utterm bullshit guys. Don't believe it because people are laughing at us elsewhere.

ClarrieBlue
if not that he is on his way to manchester and stopped by for the night.. by the time Defoe has come off the M6 and got to the hotel, he could have arrived in Manchester and been all snug in his bed at the Lowry Hotel, where England stay. Which is nowhere near Moss Side

Oooh, so harsh  If you could be arsed to read back before sounding off you'd see this is the result of a conversation between my mate and JD at the hotel, this evening. Rocafella
I have read every bit of it and I smell Tottenham-fans all the way. LukeMoore
if it is a wind up then there are either 1 or 2 very pathetic sad little people who really won't have gained anything by doing this as the majority of people think they are talking shit anyway. Unfortunatley i want it to happen so badly that i'm allowing myself to be sucked in.

I'm from Sutton, when I was five Villa won Europe and like a true glory hunter I've been hooked ever since. How about you 'fella', no good teams in Norway? uncy_chris
The way I see it, Defoe IS the kind of player we should be looking at. If we don't sign someone of his stature this transfer window, then MON won't have done very well. We need quality players, and all this talk of shit like Upson, Xavier, random Egyptians doesn't excite me one bit.
aj2k77
Why would tottenham sell us Defoe after he's scored 11 in 10 and there other nippy striker is out injured for a month ? Theyd have to have some huge name lined up to replace him and placate the fans . TEVEZ !!!

uncy_chris
I just feel like for the club to show its ambition it might involve ensuring we do get a big name player, even if it is at a price a bit over the odds.
