maqroll Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 For a silly, manufactured band that were just piggybacking on the Beatles success, they actually recorded a few good songs. I grew up watching reruns of the show, and it was just goofy fun, and that's all they aspired to be, really. They all seemed like likable guys. I still have to laugh when I think about how Jimi Hendrix was their opening act for a few shows until they kicked him off it because he scared all the young girls in the audience R.I.P.
