That result really puts the Premier League into perspective (again)

Why does it? That was a team battling for fourth position in the English league, against a team at the top of the Italian league.

For example, Man City (1st) v Levante of Spain (4th), i'd fancy Citeh to dick them in that match up.

Just a very very poor Arsenal team against a good Milano team on the day.

A bit like they did with a team currently 7th in Serie A?

I am pleased. So much for Zlatan being no good in the CL.
Well, he's largely piss poor. But Arsenal suit him perfectly.

Huge result for Milan, goes along way to telling a lot of people that they're too old, not good enough etc. Robinho's been crap all season, brilliant today though.

What a stupid thing to say about Ibra..

8 league titles in 8 seasons at 4 different clubs, regularly being the top goals scorer and he creates his fair share of them too!

Agree about Robinho though.

We were talking about the CL, can you tell me he's been anything better than awful year in year out since he joined Juve?

As I've said before, he's basically this generation's Cantona.

Flamboyant, talismanic and able to drag a club to league titles year after year. A bit of dick, but scorer of some of the best goals you'll ever see.

Fairly mediocre at international level and usually completely anonymous in European competition.

The commentator was saying he'd scored in every single Champions League game this season. Completely anonymous seems more than a little unfair.

It's not the group stage that's the problem. Until he played Arsenal with Barca last year, he hadn't scored a single knock out stage goal. And he's failed on many occassions to show up against English teams, Spurs last year, against Man Utd with Inter, against Arsenal whilst he was at Juve.

its an interesting game should have been a penalty for Ajax in last few seconds. Always love watching Ajax a true European giant though have fallen on hard times but always try to play football and give youth a chance. Villa fans moan about losing our best players should really take a look and see what Ajax have lost over last 15 years

Young is having a bit of a shocker on the wing

His poor record against a select handful of English teams (excluding Arsenal) doesn't really negate the rest of his career which has been pretty phenomenal.
