The position of his head is actually much closer to the plane of the line on the Chelsea image because of the perspective. Spurs could probably argue it’s a frame or two late in both snaps as the ball already looks airborn. This is a difficult one as the linesman called it on the pitch but in VAR it’s so close I guess benefit of the doubt to the forward should count. Dr_Pangloss Posted January 19, 2019 Share Posted January 19, 2019 That midfield is shocking in many ways, When you line up with Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic you're asking for trouble none of them have a creative bone in their body, none have a forward pass. He's deploying Kante in a more advanced role and he simply looks like an average premier league player there, he's world class in front of a back four but no where near that as a CM.
