Anyone have any opinions on creatine supplements?

It has proven performance gains.

It's just a case of if you believe the side effects or not. To my knowledge there hasn't been any studies that show any of the more severe side effects talked about, but plenty that show it has gains in performance with no real side effects. Bloatedness is about the only side effect widely reported.

That's not to say it's perfectly safe, but IMO the risk from taking it is tiny.

Apparently for the creatine to be effective you must drink at least 3 litres of water a day.

Should be drinking around that anyway.
