Amsterdam_Neil_D 1,740 Report post Posted October 22 (edited) I can't get any nice chocolate in Holland. None unless it's €1.60 for a Flake. Nothing I like, their biscuits are rubbish as well. The local supermarket (Total floor space) is smaller than the George section at minworth Asda to give you an idea. It's really not good. I love chocolate, a lot. It genuinely cheers me up. It is one of the downsides of NL, there are not many but this is one. No mini rolls either. (Anyone going to Amsterdam at any point soon?) Edited October 22 by Amsterdam_Neil_D Important point about Mini rolls & then to start openly begging.

useless 6,674 Report post Posted October 22 (edited) I tried some Tony's Chocolonely the other week which is Dutch and gets a lot of rave reviews; I hadn't had any previously because it's quite expensive, but they were selling small bars in the supermarket, so got one to try. Got well excited and it was utter nastiness The biscuit is too dark for peanut butter imo Anything that is chocolate / orange flavoured is absolutely disgusting, no one will ever convince me otherwise. Oddly (as her tastes follow her mother's more than mine), my daughter also shares this revulsion at the chocolate / orange combo
