Goldiejjj
Thought the initial was 5500? if we take 3000 there it'll be embarrasing considering leeds brought the same amount on a night game.
covcat
Well I can only repeat what the chap told me. We had 250 left of the initial allocation of between 4-5000. I have to say I would be surprised if we only took 3000 with free coaches on offer. I was expecting more to go even before they offered free coaches. We always take 3000 for league games. TRS-T
Leeds took the full 9,000 last year as well. Leeds have top away support tbf.
wedge
When I rang earlier the woman said no-one was quite sure what allocation we'd been given or how many we'd sold. Our ticket office is feckin' useless.

CI
Do gate receipts still get split 50/50 for FA Cup games ?
blandy Posted January 20, 2012 Moderator Share Posted January 20, 2012 They never have been 50-50 it's always been a bit more complictaed than that. They are split (depending on which round it is, and the status of the clubs), and after costs, approximately 45-45, with around 10% going to the FA - some of this 10% goes to the prize fund. It's different for semi finals and final
Redditch_Villa
My old man just got us a couple, 95 left of what allocation we have so far.
roonst83
I booked mine this morning and asked about what allocation we have been given. I was told 5,200 - of which were expected to get sold out very soon.
chasing_hamburg
Not holding out too much hope for Monday then Typical that one of the only away game days I don't have to work on is the one that will sell out before I can buy a ticket. Oh well.

SouthBirminghamVilla
Looking at the Arsenal online select a seat for this game, it looks as though we have been allocated the lower tier behind the goal. The extra allocation section looks as though they are onsale to Arsenal fans.
hogso
I've just spoken to the ticket office, and was told they aren't sure of an exact ticket allocation. When I explained that my client ref was Ok for a ticket, but I wanted 2 others together with that one that only had home booking on them (so are eligable from monday), he told me that he thought it'd be alright, as long as I phoned early. Obviously he counldn't guarantee anything though. Seems a strange situation, the only logical explantion is that we're taking as many as we can sell, given that no one seems to know what the allocation is...but that simply can't be true, so god knows. Fingers crossed for Monday I guess, I'll be phoning at 9am in an attempt to get 3x in any case!
Pete3206
I don't think we'll get any more. If you look on Arsenal's website, blocks 20-29 are showing as unavailable, that's the Villa allocation. All of the upper tier in that end is on general sale to home fans. covcat
Think we will just have to wait and see. Blocks 20-29 take over 7000 so I dont think we have these. the website does not say these are sold to villa fans, just sold out (as is the opposite end). My guess is that we will have bocks 20-26 or 27 like Leeds did (about 5100).
Gabby87thminhero
I phoned up yesterday and less than 400 were left. Is that still the case and is there a good chance i can get tickets tomorrow?

jasethevillain
Has anyone got the tickets online from the villa ticket site? i can do the tickets but can't see the option to book the coach on there? I'm wondering this too, looks like I'm gonna have to take a trip to Brum. :x
jasethevillain
To add to the above, I got someone in Birmingham to go ask and apparently all coaches are booked up but they said to ring up tomorrow to see if they're putting more on.. If not I can't really afford to go...
